Airbrushing the Celluclay part 2

After several iterations of mixing paint, I finally found a combination I didn't hate. It's probably a little browner than I'd like, but it's not too bad. The picture below doesn't really represent the true color, but it was the best I could do.

I'm now considering my experiment with Celluclay complete, although I still need to see if time has any further effects on the Celluclay, such as cracking and mildew. I'm hoping the multiple coats of paint I put on it will help protect it from that kind of thing. I know people use this kind of stuff to make intricate sculptures and such, but I have yet to figure out a technique to eliminate all the excess texture. I got rid of the worst of it, but there was still a fair amount that I never got out. At this point, I am uncertain whether I'll use it on another project. If I do, it will probably be because I didn't find anything that works better (and also because I still have about 3/4 of a package of the stuff, and I wouldn't want to waste it).
