This was my second year of running the spook house that was part of Harris Hill elementary school's Spooktacular event. Setup went very smoothly and much more quickly this year since we had a pretty good idea what we were doing this year. All of the feedback I heard was very positive, and as I was packing up, I was told that they would love to have me back again next year, so that will allow me to start planning earlier for next year's event.
The setup crew this year consisted of Dan and Tabitha Gardner, Randy Makoski, Terry Mraz, and Mark and Susan Mraz. The actors were Faith Barbe, Shane Estelle, Dan and Tabitha Gardner, and Mark Mraz. I would like to thank all of them for their help with Spooktacular this year. I would also like to thank Shane, Faith, and Susan for their help in planning the event, especially the chimp scene. I wasn't sure it would work out, but based on the reactions we got, I'd say it did. Everyone had a great time preparing and running the event, and I know I look forward to doing it again in 2009.
